In-House Kirksite Foundry Reduces Lead-Time

Kirksite foundry tools

March 25, 2020

Our in-house kirksite foundry creates short lead-time for tool and assembly for projects that require quick turnaround. We have a pour capacity of 60,000 lbs. per casting and over 750,000 lbs. a month. Kirksite (zinc alloy) requires little machining to the molding surfaces and can be easily polished for a nice, smooth finish. This allows us to produce tooling for tight time schedules and incorporate changes very quickly. Contact us at to see if our kirksite foundry is right for your next project.

Production Facility Expansion

automobile metal stamping

February 25, 2020

We recently completed a 71,000 sq. ft. expansion at our Farmington Road production facility. This creates an additional 30,000 sq. ft. for our press room and 41,000 sq. ft. for our assembly area. The expansion will allow us to position stamping, laser cutting, and assembly in one building. This will reduce transportation and WIP, while also improving quality control and our quality feedback loop. We added two new 500 ton and seven new 300 ton hydraulic presses. We also relocated a 500 ton hydraulic press and a 1,000 ton mechanical press to our new press room. With 300,000 sq. ft. at our production facility, we are able to meet your metal forming needs more efficiently and effectively.
